Albert De Angelis
Mr. De Angelis joined NW Financial in 2011. He has over 40 years of investment experience in the municipal securities industry. During that time he has served as trader, salesmen, syndicate manager and brokers-broker. Over the last fifteen years, Mr. De Angelis was a Senior Vice President for some of the major New York firms. He was responsible for New York City offices as well as their regional offices.
At Siebert Brandford Shank he specialized in sales, marketing and distribution of municipal bonds. When he was at Grigsby Brandford, he established an east coast presence for the firm by managing the New York City office. He managed the secondary trading position and four regional offices for Dean Witter and Co. When he was employed at Cantor Fitzgerald, Mr. De Angelis serviced the municipal bond community by covering the largest securities firms in the industry. At Prudential Securities he managed the long term trading of the municipal bond department.
His most valuable experience has been to cover the most sophisticated institutional investors of the firms. These clients included the largest property and casualty insurance companies, the major asset management groups and national trust accounts. Some of the accounts that he is responsible for include Blackrock, Eaton Vance, AIG, Chubb, Liberty Mutual and Brookfield. He has assisted his clientele with invaluable advice in municipal credit and trade evaluations; proprietor trading ideas; portfolio analysis and swap executions.
As a senior member of NW Financial Group, he provides valuable leadership to the risk management committee and trading positions of the firm. He has been responsible for the continual education of the sales team and provides valuable insight into the marketplace including recommended portfolio transactions for institutional customers. He has successfully integrated himself in the pricing and distribution of the firm’s bond origination efforts.
