NW Financial completed a financial feasibility analysis for the Union City Housing Authority’s 112 unit Veterans Housing Project. Constructed in the 1950s, this scattered site property is in need of major renovations in order to correct numerous health and safety violations and prevent further deterioration of the units. NW Financial proposed a lease-purchase program to the Authority which would allow renovations to be undertaken under the Authority’s supervision with eventual ownership devolving to qualified tenants, including present occupants. The City and the Authority are now assessing the practicality of pursuing our recommendations.
